I make businesses founder-proof, and myself unnecessary.

NeuroNest Consulting is led by Muneeba Brooks, Founder and Principal, for founder-led businesses that have plateaued.

Most consultants build around themselves. I build to leave.

About the Principal

I've spent my career inside the operational layer of organizations. First in corporate retail operations at national scale, where I learned what world-class infrastructure looks like when thousands of people depend on it working. Then years embedded in founder-led and mission-driven organizations, where I learned what happens when that infrastructure doesn't exist and one person is quietly holding everything together.

I've been contracted under modest titles and found myself functioning as the operational backbone: translating between boards and vendors, building compliance-first systems for government funders, holding institutional memory, and designing structures that outlast my involvement. That pattern, hired for a task and needed for the architecture, taught me what founder-run businesses actually lack. It isn't effort.

Before any of that, I trained and worked in frontline mental health, in crisis and treatment settings where the stakes were as high as stakes get. That work shaped how I practice to this day: change doesn't hold unless the person at the center is ready, honesty beats comfort every time, and the goal of good help is to no longer be needed. The name NeuroNest carries that on purpose. This is systems work, but it starts with how founders think.

I'm pragmatic, direct, and allergic to dependency-shaped consulting. If the honest answer is "don't hire me," that's the answer you'll get.

How I work

I find the blockage. I rebuild the system. I hand it back.

  • Diagnose what's actually blocking growth, not just what looks broken

  • Rebuild systems your own team can run without me

  • Release ownership on a schedule, by design
